See below for optional training events.  Some pricing is fixed.

BLS TRAINING EVENT:

PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
  • Airway Adjuncts and O2 administration
  • Simulated Manikin Head for BVM techniques
  • Tourniquets and splints.
  • Extrication, Backboarding, and Restraints
  • BLS resuscitation/ROSC
  • Hemorrhage control
  • Diabetic Emergencies
  • Assessments
  • Chest Pain and 12 Lead findings.
  • 2 Dedicated instructors.
Package Requirements:
  • Agency to host can be EMS, Fire, Community, Hospital
  • Course takes about 4 hours.
  • Course has integrated feedback with limited "classroom" time.
  • Room to perform "hands -on" events.
  • Option for a "working-meal"

Course cost per person: $25.00, or...
Course cost per agency: $250.00 (Major discount for 7 person's or more)

ALS TRAINING EVENT:

PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
  • Airway Adjuncts and O2 administration
  • Simulated Manikin Head for BVM techniques
  • Tourniquets and splints.
  • Extrication, Backboarding, and Restraints
  • ALC resuscitation/ROSC -ACLS review
  • Hemorrhage control
  • Hemostatic medications
  • Diabetic Emergencies
  • Fluid resuscitation
  • Assessments
  • Excited Delirium
  • RSI procedure and medication review
  • Chest Pain and 12 Lead findings - sgarbossa criteria and electrical alternanes
  • Hemodynamic medication review
  • 2 Dedicated instructors.
PACKAGE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Agency to host can be EMS, Fire, Community, Hospital
  • Course takes about 10 hours.
  • Course has integrated feedback with limited "classroom" time.
  • Room to perform "hands -on" events.
  • Option for a "working-meal"

Course cost per person: $150.00, or...
Course cost per agency: $1000.00 (Major discount for 9 person's or more)

ER TRAINING EVENT:

This event is specific for RN's, Medics, and newer Mid-Levels.  Physicians are encouraged to attend and provide input, however the knowledge, skills, and abilities, are to improve ER events in rural settings where an MD/DO might not always be present.
PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
  • 1 Medical Simulation
  • 1  Trauma Simulation
  • ER interventions that EMS typically won't perform in the field.
  • 1 Instructor
  • Low occurrence event interventions:  Chest Tube, Blood Transfusion, etc...
PACKAGE REQUIRES:
  • 2 hours use of an ER and ER bed.  (A facility's actual ER is recommended to encourage a facility's setup to be used)
  • A review with a Q/A session.
  • Each event should have no more than the "normal" number of available providers for that agency.  

Cost per session:  $250.00  we recommend 2-4 sessions day/night crew involvement.

HIGH ACUITY TRAINING EVENT:

PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • 4  Patient Scenarios with simulation manikin
  • Hemodynamically Compromised interventions
    • Hypovolemic vs Hyperdyanimc vs Hypoxic
  • Multisystem trauma with multiple compromising injuries
    • Will require chest tube, blood, and pressors
  • Hyperkalemia crisis patient with major electrolyte imbalance.
  • Traumatic airway intervention.
  • 2 dedicated instructors.
​PACKAGE REQUIRES:
  • 4 hours use of an ER and ER bed.  (A facility's actual ER is recommended to encourage a facility's setup to be used)
  • A review with a Q/A session.
  • Each event should have no more than the "normal" number of available providers for that agency.  

Cost per session:  $600.00  we recommend 2 sessions day/night crew involvement.

If the agency wishes to include a ventilator training, we will be happy to include a vent orientation course to include initial settings, modes, techniques and troubleshooting.  

Comprehensive Ventilator workshops should be provided by dedicated critical teams or educators.

MONTHLY NREMT NCCP TRAINING (1-4 HOURS)

PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
In Person:
  • A monthly 2-4 hour event based on NCCP criteria for continuing education hours.
  • A course schedule of subjects will be worked out with staff.
  • Will require a facility with room for a projector and screen.
  • Will always have a hands on portion.

Course Cost is negotiated.
Teleconference: 
  • A monthly 2-4 hour event based on NCCP criteria for continuing education hours.
  • A course schedule of subjects will be worked out with staff.
  • Will require a facility a computer and "screen" with a wi-fi connection.  Will require access to "Go-to-Meeting"
  • Will occasionally have a hands on portion that will be directed from EZ-EMT headquarters.
Course Cost: $60 for 2 hours and $100 for 4 hours.

AIRWAY INTERVENTIONS AND RSI EVENT

PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
  • An airway head.
  • Pig throats
  • Pig lungs
  • Medication review
  • Technique review with direct laryngoscopy and video laryngoscopy (if applicable).
  • Surgical Airway techniques.
  • Simulated RSI events
  • 2 dedicated instructors.
PACKAGE REQUIRES:
  • A location large enough to set up training.
  • Agency to provide ET tubes.
  • Dedicated 2 hour window per session.
  • No more than 8 providers per session.


Course Cost:  $250.00 per session. (We require 2 sessions and recommend 4).

IO/IV/EJIV ACCESS EVENT

PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
  • This is one of my most favorite courses.
  • It can be an add on to other courses or a stand alone.
  • IV intervention
  • IO intervention/locations
  • External Jugular Vein IV.
  • Large bore considerations.
  • Child and Adult application.
  • Umbilical Access (Emergency field access)
PACKAGE REQUIRES:
  • ​Requires an agency to provide IV catheters.
  • Requires an agency to provide their IO equipment.

Course Add-on Cost: $50.00/hr

Stand alone course: $150.00
